The Pahrump Valley Times Trojans Cage Classic will be played Dec. 11-12-13 on the PVHS campus, in both the main gym and the Ninth Grade Academy.

In the boys division, Amargosa Valley Horizon Academy will replace Las Vegas Del Sol in the seventh annual basketball tournament. Horizon Academy is in its third year of operation and will be making its second appearance in the tournament.

Girls: Pahrump Valley varsity, Pahrump Valley Junior Varsity, Beatty, Bishop (Calif.), Las Vegas Vo-Tech and Las Vegas Faith Lutheran.

Boys: Amargosa Valley Horizon Academy, Beatty, Las Vegas Silverado, Pahrump Valley, Spring Mountain, Fremont (Calif.) American.

6 p.m. -- Beatty vs. Fremont boys, PVHS; Faith Lutheran vs. Vo-Tech girls, 9GA.

7:30 p.m. -- Spring Mountain vs. Silverado boys, PVHS; Bishop vs. Pahrump Valley JV girls, 9GA.

Dec. 12

1:30 p.m. -- Beatty vs. Pahrump Valley JV girls, PVHS; PVHS vs. Fremont boys, 9GA.

Teams are seeded 1 through 6 after their three preliminary games for a single-elimination bracket tournament Dec. 13.

Games at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., Noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. in both gyms.

The championship games are at 4:30 p.m. (girls) and 6 p.m. (boys), with both contests in the main gym. Consolation games will be played at 4:30 p.m. (girls) and 6 p.m. (boys) in 9GA.
