Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Dec. 1 to Dec. 5:

Menu -- soup and salad bar, 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday -- baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce;

Tuesday -- smothered chicken, seasoned rice, mixed veggies, vanilla pudding;

Wednesday -- Spanish omelette, southwestern potatoes, sausage links, apple crisp;

Thursday -- spaghetti with meatballs, garlic bread, Italian green beans, white cake;

Friday -- franks and beans, corn, fruit cup.

Activities

Monday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker club, noon; beading club, 12:30 p.m.; hair cuts, 9 a.m.

Tuesday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; craft class, 1 p.m.; bridge class, 1 p.m.; Humana, 9:30 a.m.

Wednesday -- cloggers, 9 a.m.; pinochle, 1 p.m.; Wal-Mart shopping, 9:30 a.m.; painting class, 10 a.m.

Thursday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m., Board meeting, 5 p.m.

Friday -- exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, noon; bridge, 1 p.m.; Beading Hearts, 1 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Dec. 1 to Dec. 5. Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Monday -- baked liver and onions, mexicorn, tomatoes vinaigrette, mashed potatoes, whole wheat bread, apple butter, sliced peaches;

Tuesday -- barbecue chicken, baked potato with sour cream and chives, broccoli, cole slaw, apricots, oatmeal cookies;

Wednesday -- Diabetic Menu: baked bean stew, whole wheat rolls, colorful salad, fruit cocktail, lemon cookies;

Thursday -- sweet and sour pork, brown rice pilaf, steamed cauliflower, layered salad, 100 percent whole wheat bread, low-sodium margarine, fresh peach;

Friday -- tuna patties, mixed vegetables, garlic and herb mashed potatoes, salad bar, brownie.
